Gravitron are offering businesses the unique opportunity to advertise their company name and logo in a way that is usually only available to the likes of blue chip companies, tobacco companies and high street banks. Motorsport is one of the top spectator sports and attracts huge coverage at its many differing levels.

Based in Stonehouse, Gravitron design and manufacture motors and controllers for electric vehicles. We also manufacture electric karts capable of speeds up to 100 mph. Currently there is no race class for electric karts in the UK and, although we are working hard on the various authorities, we are unlikely to have an event in Britain until at least next year. To enable us to compete with our karts we must travel to Europe, where there are several electric race calendars. In August Gravitron will be competing in the EVN Cup in Austria. This race meeting is wholly dedicated to electric and gas powered vehicles. We have raced in this event every year for the past four years, a lonely British entrant with one kart. However this year will be different!! We intend to take a much bigger team with 5 karts, which will put the UK on an equal footing with those teams from Italy, Hungary and Austria.

To have the opportunity of being linked with this up and coming and exhilarating sport Gravitron are willing to display your company information in return for a small amount of sponsorship. There are many different ways in which this can be provided .

It could be monetary, or a material donation such as fixings, tyres etc or some other payment in “kind”; someone could offer a vehicle for transportation or assist with transporting the karts to and from the race; overalls, boots and gloves are needed; In return, we will provide you with advertising space either on one of the karts, a driver’s overalls, the transportation vehicles, the team’s gazebo, on Gravitron’s promotional literature or, for those wishing to spend a little more money, space on Gravitron’s web site.

We will also supply you with photographs and information for your own press releases – an exciting subject and eye-catching picture will make them much more likely to be printed. Sponsorship is one of the most cost effective forms of advertising and you can choose the level of your donation. Unlike advertising, where you will pay a set amount for an advert that will be seen once, sponsorship offers the opportunity for your company logo or information to reach a wide audience over an agreed time span; every time the Gravitron race kart features in a press release, local news story, promotional video, race demonstration or exhibition, your company logo will be on view.

The exposure that your company will receive in return for this sponsorship can be far more cost effective than any advertising that you may previously have bought. The karts are always a high profile part of the three-day EVN event, with the kart races forming a considerable part of the annual EVN promotional video. We use photographs and other material from the EVN event in our subsequent press releases to local and UK publications, and also to those in the US and Europe. Your company name and logo could be seen by potential customers throughout the UK, Europe and the US; in the case of sponsors who purchase web site space, there is global exposure.

Gravitron regularly attend exhibitions in the UK, Europe and the US at prestigious venues such as the Autosport show NEC, The Performance Racing Industry Show and the IAAPA show in the US. At the end of August we will be presenting a demonstration race at Sandown Park during the Honda Challenge Race meeting on the bank holiday. Our team of five karts will be driven by current or ex kart drivers whose names will be well known to the Honda Challenge audience. This is a televised meeting that attracts high media attention; your business name could be on display
