Dragsters

The dragster ride comprises of full size dragsters racing side by side. These vehicles are attached to a rail system that guides the vehicles down the centre of the race strip. The rail system incorporates roller coaster style braking systems and the electrical supply to the dragsters. A 125m x 10m footprint will contain two dragster lanes, with timing boards, garage and maintenance area, staging area, control tower and braking areas. Christmas tree starting lights bring the full atmosphere of drag racing to the participants. With complete control of acceleration in the hands of the drivers, quick reactions will be needed to win the race.  

The Gravitron Dragster started life as a small scale model (see left) that was carefully constructed in to a full size prototype (see Right)

The high powered, adrenaline boosting, exhilarating experience is now available for installation in theme parks at very competitive rates. The opportunity for the general public to experience motor racing’s most powerful side is will certainly attract theme park visitors for miles around!
