Having purchased the Grand Pier at Weston super Mare in February 2008, we had a plan to run it for the summer season and then implement some changes during the winter 2008/09. However, we soon decided that we would be an all year round attraction and that we urgently needed some new attractions.

Top of our list was a go kart track so, in March 2008, we approached Gravitron and asked if they could assist. Following an initial meeting, they surveyed our building and came up with a proposal for a 170 metre track, built into the 'roof void' of the main pavilion which not only made maximum use of space but also meant that we didn't need to lose any of our existing attractions to make way for the kart track.

Within four weeks we had decided on a design and it was then that we dropped the bombshell, we needed to be open by the 7th July!! Gravitron had to manufacture and install the track in less than 12 weeks - whilst we were still open to the general public!!

I am delighted to confirm that they completed the task and delivered a fantastic ride, within the timescales and just as importantly, within budget. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, their 'can do' attitude coupled with their technical ability, is a credit to them.
